The McComb Lions Club will be holding a Chicken BBQ Dinner on Saturday, July 6th from 5-7pm prior to the McComb Fireworks. It will be held at the McComb Village Park. Chicken, vegetable, roll, dessert and drink. Cost of meal is $8. Tickets are presale only and may be purchased through Saturday, June 29th. Tickets available from any McComb Lions Member and at Primrose Flowers, McComb VFW or Hoverman Insurance in McComb. You may also call 419-293-2350. All proceeds from the meal will be used to fund McComb Lions Club projects.
Stonebridge Church in Findlay will host a summer Sports Camp for kids ages 3-through the fifth grade. The "free" camp will be from 6pm to 8:30pm Tuesday and Thursdays beginning July 16th until August 1st. Kids choose between basketball, flag football, soccer or cheerleading. Cooking, arts and other life skills will also be available. Parents can register their kids on line at stonebridgechurch.org or stop by the church, Route #12, East, Findlay and pick up a registration form. The first 150 kids to register will receive a t-shirt. Please plan to register by July 10th. A very limited number of walk-ins will be available.
