Kid's Weekend, Church on 53, Fremont

Parents, Grandparents, and friends are invited to join us for a Sunday Celebration called "Kid's Weekend" on Saturday, August 10th at 6pm, Sunday, August 11th at 9am or Sunday, August 11th at 11am with each service being identical. During each weekend service; there will be a special children's presentation, back to school prayer, recognition of children's leaders, teachers and assistants.

SMITHSONIAN TRAVELING JOURNEY STORIES, BG

The Wood County Historical Center is pleased to host the Smithsonian traveling exhibit "Journey Stories", August 10th through September 15th at the Wood County Historical Museum, 13660 County Home Road in Bowling Green. The Museum is open Tuesday-Friday, 9:30am - 4:30pm and weekends 1-4pm with extended hours during special events.

TEAM SCAVANGER HUNT CAMERA, HPD, FINDLAY

Team Scavanger Hunt Camera Challenge. Register in teams of up to 4 people. Capture the ten digital pictures of plants on the scavanger hunt list. Field guide and ID pictures are available to borrow. Park guide will be on hand for overview of rules of game, as well as to get gear you need. You must provide a digital camera. Recommended for ages 12 and up, with a minimum of one adult per team. Teams can check in at the Picnic Shelter, located at Litzenberg Memorial Woods, located at 6100 US Route #224, west of Findlay. No registration is necessary, but RSVP by Thursday, August 8th. SUMMER CONCERT SERIES, FOSTORIA

The Fostoria Lake Plains Chorus will perform at the Wainwright Ampitheatre in Foundation/Meadowlark Park as part of the Fostoria Community Arts Council\'s Summer Concert Series at 7:30pm on Sunday August 11th.\r\nThis free concert is co-sponsored by the City of Fostoria Parks and Recreation Department and provided through a grant from the Henry Geary Family Foundation. Rain location is Wesley United Methodist Church on Van Buren Street.
