AUDITIONS FOR RITZ PLAYERS COMEDY – MOON OVER BUFFALO Who: The Ritz Players What: Auditions for Moon Over Buffalo When: Open auditions: Sunday, September 7& Monday September 8 - 6:30 PM Where: The Ritz Theatre, 30 S. Washington St., Tiffin, OH 44883 The Ritz Players will hold open auditions for the comedy Moon Over Buffalo on September 7 and 8 at 6:30 PM at The National Theatre at The Ritz. Performance dates are October 31, November 1, 8, and 9. Available roles are four men and four women, between ages early 20s to 60s. DISCOVERY STORY, HPD, FINDLAY

Discovery Story: Salamanders Have you ever found a salamander hiding under a log or wet fall leaves? Join Program Assistant, Chris Allen on Monday, September 8 to listen to a Discovery Story about Salamanders at 10am & 1pm at Oakwoods Nature Preserve in the Discovery Center. Children will learn about the life of a salamander and there will be a craft followed by a short hike to see where the salamander lives. This program is recommended for children three to six years of age with an adult companion; other aged siblings are welcome. The Oakwoods Nature Preserve, “Doc” Phillips Discovery Center is located at 1400 Oakwoods Lane, off West Sandusky Street, off CR 144, west of Findlay. The Wood County Historical Museum is pleased to host a nationally-recognized photography exhibit by Christopher Payne called Asylum: "Inside the Closed World of State Mental Hospitals". The exhibit and companion book will be in the new gallery space at the Wood County Historical Museum May 31 - November 16, 2014. An opening reception is planned for Friday, May 30, from 6-8pm, with Payne's remarks and book signing. This event is free and open to the public.
