She earned a Bachelors of Science in Business Administration in 1987 from Bowling Green State University. She joined David Barlow of Barlow Group Benefit Services in 1988. Annette became Partner in 1991, and received her Registered Health Underwriter designation in 1994. Upon Mr. Barlow’s passing in 1996, Annette became the Owner and President of Group Benefit Consultants. She is actively involved in Kiwanis, Zonta, HOBY (Hugh O’Brian Youth Leadership) and the National Association of Health Underwriters (NAHU). She is a 2003 graduate of Hancock Leadership. The Wood County Historical Museum is pleased to host a nationally-recognized photography exhibit by Christopher Payne called Asylum: "Inside the Closed World of State Mental Hospitals". The exhibit and companion book will be in the new gallery space at the Wood County Historical Museum May 31 - November 16, 2014. An opening reception is planned for Friday, May 30, from 6-8pm, with Payne's remarks and book signing. This event is free and open to the public.

Fundraiser for Humane Society of Seneca Co. Craft/vendor show, photos with your pets, Pet parade/contest, raffles, Lots more come on out and check us out, fun for everyone. (Farmers Market the same day and Jazz Fest in afternoon)
