Pet Portrait Day in the Park

From 2:00PM to 6:00PM

Register by Wednesday, October 15 Join the fun and create an everlasting memory of you and your pet(s) at Riverbend Recreation Area at Shelter 7 by the Dog Park, on Thursday, October 16, 2pm-6pm. Contact the HPD office to schedule your photography time slot. With a $50 donation and program pre-registration, you will receive a 30 minute photo session compliments of HPD Marketing Manager, Tifani Boltz-Heywood. Your photo session will include a CD with a minimum of 5 high resolution portraits and complete copyright privileges. Registration is required by Wednesday, October 15. If there is inclement weather, a rain date will be scheduled for the following Thursday, October 23, at your regular scheduled time. Riverbend Recreation Area is located at 16618 TR 208, off of SR 568, east of Findlay. The Wood County Historical Museum is pleased to host a nationally-recognized photography exhibit by Christopher Payne called Asylum: "Inside the Closed World of State Mental Hospitals". The exhibit and companion book will be in the new gallery space at the Wood County Historical Museum May 31 - November 16, 2014. An opening reception is planned for Friday, May 30, from 6-8pm, with Payne's remarks and book signing. This event is free and open to the public.
