The Hancock County Agency on Aging, "The Senior Center'" will be conducting a Men's breakfast on Thursday, October 30th from 8:30am-10:00am. The Hancock County Agency on Aging, "The Senior Center", is located at 339 East Melrose Ave., on the corner of North Blanchard and Melrose. Bruce Boguski will be the featured speaker and will be presenting "Ignite' Get Fired Up". Bruce Boguski, author, motivational speaker, columnist and media personality is well known for his ability to inspire others to do the impossible. Bruce knows firsthand the attitude and skills required to overcome physical and mental challenges. This is free for thos 55+ by reservation only. The Wood County Historical Museum is pleased to host a nationally-recognized photography exhibit by Christopher Payne called Asylum: "Inside the Closed World of State Mental Hospitals". The exhibit and companion book will be in the new gallery space at the Wood County Historical Museum May 31 - November 16, 2014. An opening reception is planned for Friday, May 30, from 6-8pm, with Payne's remarks and book signing. This event is free and open to the public.
