Celebrate United! Celebrity Server Week

United Way of Hancock County will be hosting an event to celebrate the good work of this year's fundraising campaign. The community is invited to participate in the annual Celebrity Server event happening each day between January 12 and January 16 at different locations throughout the community. The public is invited to patronize the following establishments and get served by local leaders who Live United. FRIENDS HELPING FRIENDS COPE IN FOSTORIA

Art in the Park - Nature Journaling

From 7:00PM to 8:30PM

Join artist, naturalist and HPD park volunteer Sharon Hammer Baker on Thursday, January 15 from 7-8:30 PM for a workshop to explore nature journaling techniques, including observation skills, sketching, drawing, painting and writing. The group will meet at the Discovery Center, in Oakwoods Nature Preserve. Plan to work from live and mounted wildlife, as well as fresh and collected materials from the parks, to enhance your experience. This workshop is for teens and adults of all skill levels; participants should bring their own sketch book and drawing supplies. The Oakwoods Nature Preserve, “Doc” Phillips Discovery Center is located at 1400 Oakwoods Lane, off West Sandusky Street, off CR 144, west of Findlay.
