2015 Fostoria Safety Town: Safety Town is a 2 week/2 hours a day program that teaches 4-6 year olds how be safe in their community. Sessions are held at the Fostoria Intermediate School 6th grade wing and the west side of Fostoria High School Parking Lot. Art in the Park: Plein Air Gathering, HPD, FINDLAY

From 6:00PM to 8:00PM

If you love to paint or draw outdoors, the Plein Air Artists group is just for you! This program is open to all artists, from professional to interested and enthusiastic amateurs, who use any medium conducive to working outdoors. Plan to bring your own art supplies and equipment needed and dress for ground and weather conditions. A coordinator will be available during each session to answer questions. In the case of inclement weather, the session will be cancelled. This month’s gathering will take place on Thursday, July 2 at Aeraland Recreation Area from 6-8 PM. The program is recommended for teens and adults and is free with registration not required. Aeraland Recreation Area is located at 1141 Township Road 243, Fostoria, OH. BUDDING NATURALIST CAMP, HPD, FINDLAY

Budding Naturalist Camp: Animal Adaptations Register with $60 per child by 4:30 PM on Wednesday, July 1. How do birds fly? How do fish breathe underwater? Bring your 6-8 year old camper to learn about the wonderful and weird adaptations animals have that help them survive. This camp, planned by Program Specialist, Jessie Elsass will include daily crafts, interactive activities, and nature games. Bring a sack lunch, water bottle and tennis shoes. Camp will be held from 9 AM-3 PM on July 6-10 at the Brugeman Lodge in Riverbend Recreation Area. Register with $60 per child by 4:30 PM on Wednesday, July 1. A medical form is required and available online or at the park office. Riverbend Recreation Area is located at 16618 TR 208, off SR 568, east of Findlay.
