The Seneca County Genealogical Society will meet Tuesday October 6, 2015 in the Frost-Kalnow Room of the Tiffin-Seneca Public Library at 7:00 pm. Includes business meeting and program. Our program will be presented by Manuscripts and Library Assistant Julie Mayle, who is spearheading the Northwest Ohio Veteran's Oral History project at the Rutherford B. Hayes Presidential Center. The goal is to collect, preserve and make accessible the personal recollections of American war veterans through personal narratives, correspondence and visual materials. These interviews are conducted at the Hayes Center and various locations around Northwest Ohio. The veterans featured in this project have served in the armed forces as early as World War II up through present day. The public is welcome.
